The origin of the story started with the owner’s business trip to China in 2002. During dinner, the owner met her friend’s wife (a South Korean who married a Chinese), who prepared kimchi for them. After taking the first bite, she fell deeply in love with it. While she was in China, she visited her friend’s house everyday to learn about the culture of the Korean cuisine and picked up the Korean culinary skills. After returning to Singapore, she started cooking Korean cuisine.
